Tekumbé has played in festivals all over the midwest, including concerts opening for grammy award winning artists such as La Mafia, Fulanito, and Jorge Celedón.  Special events have included half-time shows at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, playing along side Colombian group Bonka, and participating in the Houston International Festival.
